Bedales dancers impress at Amesbury

By Claire Gammon, Teacher in Charge of Dance

Last week, the Dance Department was invited to perform at Amesbury School’s new Arts Festival. Dancers performed some of their work for the first time that they have been working on for their BAC and A Level exams. Alex Siantiu (6.2) based his piece on a ‘Pertouchka,’ a clown originally created by Fokine for the Ballet Russes and David Thomas (6.2) performed his ‘Ghost Dance’. The young audience seemed very impressed and the Head of Art from Amesbury School thought it was amazing to see the creativity of our students’ work. View photos.
