Appreciation of the beautiful

Bedales was delighted to host a visit of the Winchester Art History Group recently who have been studying all things Arts & Crafts in their recent lecture series. They came to see the Library and Lupton Hall. Lisa Spooner, who organised the trip, wrote: “Very many thanks for sharing the history of Bedales and the impressive library which perfectly embodied the school’s founding ethos, whilst combining both beauty and usefulness. The feedback from our members was unanimously positive and for those of us who previously knew Bedales only by passing reference, it was wonderful to see the school first hand.” More information.
