Dunannie children select ‘Rewind’ for their Easter School Production

Children at Bedales  Pre-Prep, Dunannie, completed the final week of the Spring term with a production entitled ‘Rewind Time’ chronicling the exploits of a group of children who discover a time machine and press the wrong button. The audience enjoyed each scene covering the decades of the 30’s, 50’s, 70’s and 80’s as children from each year group (Reception to Year 3) performed typical dance genres from each era.

Commenting on the production, Jo Webbern, Head of Dunannie said, “The children wowed the audience with a whistle-stop tour of dance and artists through the decades. They explored a variety of genres, from the thirties flappers to seventies punk. The artistic talents of the Dunannie teachers were demonstrated through excellent choreography and drama, which the children performed with gusto. The show not only looked good, it provided a wonderful educational insight for the children into how history influences art and society.”
