Creative talent on show

An even greater focus on creative writing has extended to students participating in the National Theatre’s New Views programme. Working with Phil King and David Anson, with additional expert advice from National Theatre playwright Jemma Kennedy, the students have each developed an original 30-minute play script. These scripts are entered into a national competition, where the winning script will be awarded a production in the National Theatre’s new space, The Shed. A different selection of our scripts will be presented on each of two nights, 25 and 26 June, at 7.30pm in the Theatre. Free tickets are available from tickets@bedales.org.uk or 01730 711511.
