Cecilia Consort sings for Save the Children

At the annual and unique event celebrating and showcasing the talented students of the four senior schools in the Petersfield area, Bedales Cecilia Consort performed a variety of songs ranging from a Negro Spiritual, Steal Away to The Call of Wisdom by Will Todd. Now in its ninth year the concert, held at Churcher’s College, brought together 160 pupils, raising a record-breaking £2161.04 for Save the Children for those less advantaged in both the UK and abroad. Just before the interval the audience were silenced by watching a very moving short song set to images of the conflict in Syria by Ellie Goulding, I Know You Care #song4syria.

Bedales School is one of the UK’s top independent private co-education boarding schools. Bedales comprises three schools situated in Steep, near Petersfield, Hampshire: Dunannie (ages 3–8), Dunhurst (ages 8–13) and Bedales itself (ages 13–18).
